Terin Christensen, an emerging abstract painter, explores emotions through texture and color. Raised in California’s Bay Area, her artistic lineage traces back to her grandfather and mother. Surrounded by art and creativity from an early age, her formative years included visits to San Francisco’s museums, with Monet and Wyeth as influences, which deeply impacted her. While initially pursuing art in college, she transitioned into a marketing degree. She worked in health-related non-profits in event management and fundraising. However, her connection to creativity remained throughout her life in varying degrees, from making stained glass windows to delving into photography, collage work, greeting cards, and other artistic endeavors. It wasn’t until 2019 that she discovered her voice in abstract and figurative acrylic painting to push creative boundaries in this medium. Terin continues to evolve and inspire through her expressive artistry.
